By targeting several mechanisms of pain, we are able to provide comfort while minimizing side effects.
Cardiothoracic anesthesia subspecialty training also comprises expertise in thoracic anesthesia, including lung resection, esophageal resection, and airway surgery.
Residents participate in the evaluation and diagnosis of patients with chronic pain conditions in addition to developing and managing a comprehensive treatment plan in the outpatient setting.
Residents can expect to receive formal didactic education; multi-disciplinary teaching rounds; and an intensive ultrasound-based curriculum that prepares them both for board examinations as well as their future careers.
Our obstetric anesthesiology leaders are widely known nationally and internationally, publishing frequently and taking leadership roles within various professional societies.
In addition to General anesthesia we provide and teach spinal anesthesia, epidural techniques and perform the latest ultrasound guided peripheral nerve block procedures.
